Conforming
Matrix Hardcoat Systems apply coatings (UV or thermal) to the
exterior exposed surfaces of numerous components. Each system
is custom designed in accord with your coating selection &
production requirements. Systems are fabricated from welded skin
and tubing or from panelized steel (material choices for the skin
include: stainless, painted mild, aluminized or galvanized).
Conforming
Matrix Hardcoat Systems enable the hardcoat to be applied in a
variety of methods, including robotic spray, fixed spray guns,
flowcoat, curtain coat or manually. A typical coating system includes:
component destat, paint booth, coating flash zone, curing oven,
cool down tunnel(s), electrical controls and fluid handling equipment.
Standard system
features include:
Stainless
steel paint booth
- Overhead or floor style conveyor system
- Modular design
- Class 1,000 or 10,000 air cleanliness
- Integrated HMI and PLC controls
- SCR heater controls (IR or electric)
- Offsite system run-off capability
- Complete system start-up and commissioning.
Optional equipment
or services available:
Paint
over spray reclaim (coating dependent)
- Automatic solvent make-up and re-balance (coating dependent)
- Robotic paint application (robot make and model specified
by customer)
- Analog or closed loop fluid control
- Closed loop fluid control
- Recirculated, filtered airflow with LEL detection (for solvent
laden air)
- Solvent part washing for pretreatment

- Automatic high pressure tool washing (on or off-line)
- Process part holders
- Secondary assembly equipment
- Remote dial-up or Ethernet troubleshooting support (dependent
on controls system hardware)
- Integrated and installed VOC destruction
- Integrated and installed supply air handler
- System installation
- System mezzanine to maximize plant floor space
