Project
Management
Project
engineers are involved with each project from the initial concept
and quotation stage through final production start-up, providing
continuity throughout the design/build process. They are responsible
for designing and overseeing the build of high quality equipment
that addresses the production needs of our customers in a cost
effective and timely manner. In weekly job meetings, scheduling
is reviewed to determine manpower adjustments to meet delivery
requirements. Technical issues as well as any special customer
requirements are addressed by the project engineer.
Process
Design
Working
with the customer and the material suppliers, the Conforming Matrix
team will develop an equipment concept which will meet the required
process parameters. For finishing systems, these parameters include
such things as parts per hour, application environmental temperature
and humidity, coating temperature and filtration levels of the
fluid and the air. For secondary tooling and masking, parameters
include technology integration (robotics, dispensing, welding,
etc.), operator ergonomics, part orientation and facility planning.
Drawing from the company's vast experience, a design concept will
mature or develop into equipment specifications to meet your production
needs.
Control
and Software Design
Conforming
Matrix Corporation also provides complete electrical, pneumatic,
and software control systems which include in-house design, programming,
and panel building capabilities. We work with the major manufacturers
of control components and readily incorporate graphical operator
interfaces into our equipment. From pneumatically controlled fixtures
to multi-processor turnkey systems, we provide the control you
need.
Mechanical
Design
Our
full-time engineering staff furnishes the mechanical design necessary
for fabricating quality industrial equipment. From purchased component
selection to CAD drawings and details, our design team is a key
link between project management and manufacturing.
Field
Services
Experienced
technicians are available for installation, supervision and start-up
services. We can also offer comprehensive preventative maintenance
service contracts for all equipment produced. Ask us about our
field service rates sheet for pricing.
Manufacturing
Capabilities
Our
facility offers complete fabrication capabilities. Machines are
made of heavy duty steel construction. Fluid handling system are
welded by highly qualified pipe welders. Our machine shop provides
us with the ability to drill, mill and turn the fabrications and
tooling utilized in the equipment we produce. From start to finish,
our manufacturing team has the ability and experience necessary
to complete a quality product. Equipment for manufacturing on
our floor includes: CNC mills, CNC punch press, shears, mechanical
and manual breaks, automatic chop saws, band saws, radial arm
drill press, mechanical rollers, TIG, MIG and Stick welding.
FILE
MANAGEMENT AND DATA EXCHANGE
We can read or have data translators for multiple
file formats. These formats include: AutoCAD, DXF, DWG and Inventor™
files (preferred), IGES, Parasolid®,
SAT (ACIS Solids perferred), SolidWorks®,
Solid Edge®, CADR, STL, VDA
and ASCII.
Troubleshooting
Support
We have the capability to establish remote
dial-in or Ethernet access to the controller (PLC), thus providing
equipment verification or restart when mechanical or electrical
down-time occurs. A customer technician can speak with a qualified
engineer that is familiar with the equipment and its specifications,
and will safely navigate through the controller logic to pinpoint
needed corrections.
