Conforming Matrix provides nickel electroform,
steel or stainless steel fabricated, and Vacuum-form masking.
Nickel electroform masking provides a very precise fit on parts
that have a complex geometry such as automotive grills. Fabricated
steel masking is usually used where the part geometry is not as
complex. Vacuum-form masking is used when the lines to be painted
or plated do not require a tight tolerance. Also vacuum-form masking
becomes a very attractive alternative when there are large quantities
of masks required, such as in metilization tooling.
We build part nests fabricated from mild steel, stainless steel,
urethane, epoxy, fiberglass, silicone, aluminum, UHMW, rubber
backed aluminum and vacuum-formed nests made of ABS or Polycarbonate
material.
Our masks and nests work in conjunction with
our wide range of paint fixtures, from our standard vertical fixture
to our automatic flip top auto tilt or auto flip top auto rollover
fixtures. These fixtures also have the ability to be integrated
into one of our automatic painting systems. All fixtures are of
heavy-duty steel construction with linear bearing slides for precision
alignment.
